Use The farm and its animals (not supplied) allow children to role-play, where they can take on the role of a farmer, gardener, veterinarian, etc. Children can also improve their fine motor skills by manipulating the figurines and accessories. They can develop their imagination, creativity and storytelling skills by putting the animals on stage in different parts of the farm.
The farm is also a setting for language enrichment, grammar and reading activities.
In Montessori pedagogy, the farm is used extensively to develop vocabulary and the nature of words.
