Use : This wooden portico is an essential part of the baby's environment in the Nido or into the House. The baby is placed underneath on a soft carpet (topponcino) or a very soft Sheepskin.
It is a good stimulation for the muscles of the baby, the awakening of his intelligence (understanding causality), his coordination hand/eye, etc...
This portico is very stable because the child has a lot of strength.
At first the objects will be black and white to respect the need for contrast related to the view of the baby that is developing, then we can move to the objects in color by privileging at first the primary colors respecting those used throughout the Montessori pedagogy: red, yellow and blue.
This material should be used by the child under adult supervision.
